I was born in Treviso, a small city nearby Venice, Italy.
Foreign languages have always been a passion of mine, so I thought why not enrolling at the Ca' Foscari University (Venice, Italy) and study Russian and English? I graduated in 2013, but before that I had time to travel to Russia, Argentina, UK, Europe & co.
Being from Veneto I had to be eager to work, so before even finishing university I started working for a furniture company as an export officer. It was a good experience overall; I could practise my Russian and English, as well as work at two international fairs.
Luckily enough, I have a dual citizenship, yes, how come?
My dad was born in Australia. So in July 2014, I decided to pack my staff and swap Treviso for Melbourne. There, I found for the first time an incredible sense of peace.
However, not being specialised in anything except selling shoes, I decided to enrol in a MA in Applied Translation Studies, studying translation from Italian and Russian into English, at the University of Leeds, in the UK.
